You're right, indeed. It's a hydraulic gyro made by AtomLab called the Hydro Twist (http://www.atomlab.com/brakehydro.html).

2 Facts:

1. You spelled "your" wrong 6 times. It's "you're", as in "you are".
2. "You're" checking it now.

I just realized who the riders are in your shot. I know Keith and Tony from the local CCCX DH races (I bring the Monster Energy drinks out there). That's so sick!

Well done, sir.

Dude you pulled a much better pic off than we did! We tried this shot last year on the same spot but didn't have a proper flash or lens so it came out like shite. Well done!

Then I guess most people aren't honest. I'm not willing to sell a fork to someone and take their money without them knowing EXACTLY what they're getting.

Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but it really is a single pivot (which is not a bad thing, just a fact). I ride a Morewood Izimu DH so I'm all about them.

Those extra "pivots" shown in the picture referenced above are showing the linkage that drives the shock. But the rear axle still only rotates around one pivot (the one that the swingarm attaches to on the frame). So the other "pivots" on the polished part are just part of the linkage.

Wow, that's a super educated statement there "66bomber66". You seem to know a lot about suspension design. Why don't you enlighten us? No? Okay, well let me help you out:

That picture of the 2009 Kona Bass you have listed in your photos is essentially a fixed axle path, just like any other single pivot bike out there (including the one above). Know why? The pivot located at the rear above the derailleur is ABOVE the rear axle. So the only pivot the rear axle is actually rotating around is the one located on the front triangle near the bottom bracket.

So as a result, the axle path is fixed, it never changes (just like a single pivot). And so just like a single pivot, your favorite nifty little Kona has a fixed axle path. The only difference is the Kona you're so fond of has a lot more pivots to go wrong. But keep in mind, Einstein, those other pivots don't affect axle path, just shock placement and the suspension rate.

In the future, try and keep your posts to educated comments. Otherwise, keep your uneducated mouth closed.

Yo, "canucker", thank you. That's all I can say. Just thank you. Your joke was so rediculous and unrelated that I feel you deserve some type of reward. Also, I rather enjoyed the joke as well. I'd give your performance a 9.8.
